A Financial Services Forum conference organised by Anthony Thomson, Chairman of Metro Bank on "Challenging the Status Quo". The audience of Marketing Directors debated the role and characteristics of Challenger brands in Finance. We shared a platform with Errol Damelin, Founder and CEO of Wonga.com among others.

An invitation to speak at CASS Business School who were interested in the differing responses to fear and anxiety from leaders of Establishment organisations vs. Challenger organisations. We shared a platform with Stuart Fletcher, former President, International Division, Diageo.

Robert Guest, Business Editor at The Economist chaired the Sixth Annual Talent Management Summit. Khurshed was invited to be part of a panel considering the 'War for Talent' following presentations from Doug Baillie, Chief HR Officer, Unilever and Richard Evans, President, PepsiCo, UK, Ireland and S Africa. 

An invitation for Khurshed to speak in Athens to the Corporate Research Forum who set the context as follows. 

"We are all coming to terms with the fact that the world has become vastly different over recent years. Political, social, economic and competitive change has had significant effects on organisations, work, education, opportunity and prosperity. Clearly difficult challenges exist – which demands that organisations do things differently.

Any executive must face this reality with new success factors. A better capacity for innovation, and being able to create, adapt, initiate and implement ideas and solutions are critical for improving society, organisations and what individuals contribute."

We were asked to provide some thought leadership and design input for FT Innovate hosted by The Financial Times. The context of this international conference focussed on novel innovation stories and revealed the 'nuts and bolts' of implementation within a corporate setting.
